What are Black people specifically getting From the Biden administration? Or am I not allowed to question the status quo and just be happy we had a large turn out?

It’s really not a hard question to answer. Everyone wants to celebrate but no one wants to answer where we go from here after “turning up”.

You can question the status-quo. In fact after Biden takes over you should fight against it.

Consider

1). what would Biden be likely to do if he assumes power

2). what would Trump be likely to do if he remained in power

1/
much has been said about Biden and what he will or won’t do. some say he will have your usual benign neglect (with occasional big steps) of the DEMs. other suggest that he will enact “crime bill”-like or -lite even anti-brehdom legislation. it’s hard to know what he will do because he has not been the man in charge before. we have the crime bill (which was a long time ago) and we have his run as VP as possible hints. There is also his voting record - which I haven’t seen but have not heard anything notable either way about. There is also the general direction of the DEM party as that will (at least initially) have a large influence on the laws that he can pass.

given all of these the most likely outcome is more “benign neglect” with isolated high-symbolism / low-structural breh specific acts.

2/
we have a far more recent example here of what Trump would be likely to do. no need to go over the list but generally trump has attacked what he sees as underserved privileges that brehs benefit from, he has attacked the socialisation of society to accept these privileges as normal, he has fanned the flames of racism and in particular overt racism and he has set the courts up against the cause of civil rights for the next 40 years at least.

-

these two lead us to make reasonable assumptions about the expected rate (and hence summed value) of net neutral + positive + negative policies and actions from the two men in question.

IMO in the near term the net expected positive value of a Biden 4 years is greater than that of Trump. Or in other words Biden’s next four years will be less negative for boredom that Trump’s last four were.

expected value in this sense.

-

so relative gain (which in absolute terms could be negative) is greater with Biden in place. Or in other words “the advantage gained by not having Trump in place” GIVEN TRUMP’s TRACK RECORD FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS is greater than the cost of having Biden in place.

much as how some might argue that the opportunity cost of having Biden or Trump is place is “no actions on reparations”.

opportunity costs as explained here:

-

a helpful example which might serve as an analogue to this configuration of events might be to start to ask: if white supremacy where to end at 00:00 midnight what might be some of the immediate advantages be?

What would brehdom instantly gain? Some might say fairness in policing, employment, education but these are in the main longer term results. those are things, the effects of which would be visible over time. some might say the wealth gap would vanish or the psychological burden would be removed but again these are longer-term pay-offs.

In truth the widest spread instant effect starting immediately would be that the number of racially motivated aggressions (big and small) would cease. And you note that this is not something which is given or done, but rather something which is no longer done to boredom. In other words the benefit would be “an absence of actions against brehdom”.

This illustrates that gains can be accrued through the absence of action if there are benefits of certain actions no longer being done.

likewise if someone stops punching you in the face that is a benefit even though that person is not actively doing anything for you.

--

The logicians will will note that most actions (whether passive or active) can be recast as the absence of the inverse action.

So for example:

active: person A punches person B in the head
passive: person A does not punch person B in the head
active recast of passive: person A holds back from punching person B in the head.

active: person A steals money from company C
passive: person A does not steal money from company C
active recast of passive: person A makes sure to stop himself from stealing money from company C

--

so putting this all together the comparative advantage lies with Biden and if it takes a precise advantage to seal the deal consider:

biden will stop himself from appointing a right-wing judge to the supreme court as part of a broader effort to roll back civil rights protections.
biden will stop himself from changing formal instruction in schools and federal institutions to omit historic and contemporary white supremacist deeds from education
biden will act slower than Trump (actively or passively) against brehdom which will stem the rate of growth of overt racism

etc

That's how I voted. Worst case scenario, Biden is relatively "neutral" to black interests or he provides some slight/moderate progress.

We can speculate about Biden. Trump has 4 years as President and we KNOW what he is. The election was about Trump. Did he earn 4 more years? No.

They got rid of her quickly. She was doing too much. She was feuding with Tucker Carlson and spreading conspiracies about Brian Kemp. It seems she was an actual believer while they're only just getting in their last cash grab.

Trump keep telling his goons to fight for him, meanwhile the only fighting he doing is on the 9th hole fighting the wind. These republicans are pathetic, will do anything just to stay close to the power and money. But Trump will turn around and drop them as fast as he hired them.
If that dummy Trump had held that nomination of ACB he would have had them eating out of his hand to overturn this. That got what they wanted and will move on.
