At the end of the day, this should not be celebrated like the greatest ever win. Trump should have NEVER been in office in the first place. Correcting a 4 year old fukkup that's made the president elect's job exponentially harder as he will inherit a completely broken country in the middle of a pandemic and economic downturn can only be seen as a win given the context and perspective of the past 4 years. There remains damage that will not be repaired for decades. This is simply the best of a horrible set of options in an attempt to slow the velocity at which the country is descending into chaos in hopes of giving us time to come up with a plan to change the trajectory.

The real work to correct this fukkshyt begins in January.

Its over.

Sometimes when its someone's time, even if they old, then its just they moment and nothing can be done to change that.

Its the ultimate story of finally having that moment after going through so much shyt in life, combined with being the 1 guy who could stop a movie supervillain who appeared untouchable like Trump.

-Biden losing his wife and daughter in a tracker trailer accident. The boys got hurt but they survived.
-Overcoming a stuttering problem.
-Having two brain aneurysms where he fell out, had to get rushed to emergency and the doctors told his wife he had a 50/50 chance at surviving the surgery and if he made it, he may have permanent neurological damage.
-His favorite son dying of cancer.
-His other son being a drug addict.

-Trump being a nasty, mean dikkhead who broke every law, survived every scandal that would have buried other Presidents, used the Presidency to make money on his businesses, politicized every federal agencies and turned them into loyalist, bigot trash that ripped the country apart by race and religion, sowed distrust in the system for his own gain and used authoritarian behaviors to make him appear to be all powerful. Incites violence against minorities and insults anyone who disagree with him. Demands loyalty over a different opinion.

--Most people who know and follow Biden will tell you he's a good dude with a heart of gold and empathy. Just look at the video of Lindsay Graham crying about Biden. So many videos and stories of him in emotional moments with people who go through shyt where he encourages them.

The country needed healing.

Put all that together, this was Biden's time. He was the guy all along for this moment in time.

Breh...I needed to read this and I thank you for that:mjcry:. Right now, I'm going through a crazy struggle and it just seems like opposition is every where I looked. This election, my faith, and my family is what keeping me honestly level headed at the moment due to my personal issues. The fact that this man endured so much and decided to come back and take control of a uncontrollable situation speaks volumes. He could had just sit it out and let some talking head take the role of a candidate, but he didn't.

Sure, he is not going to do MUCH for the black community and his troublesome past in 94=lol? but I was always supportive of dude. If anything, Biden was like Fredo in the cut during the Obama years. I remember the memes of folks being like :whoa:Obama need to put a lease on him. But that's what we need right now. We need that to turn things around because it's going to take ALOT of time to get this country back to the basics, or move forward from that 4 year blemish.

Your post really hit me on a spiritual level and for that I rep and dap you for what I needed to read right now....

Take a look around you today brehs. Good people are happy about this and evil people are sad and angry. Tells you all you need to know about the candidates.
I'm glad my new sales territory is on the west coast, my colleagues in the south are getting unneeded commentary about the election.

Blues across the board. Biden is leading in all the states of any consequence now.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere yet, but it's interesting that it's a (soon-to-be) 78 year old white centrist (who also happened to be a former VP) that was pretty much the only candidate that could have taken out Trump. Not Bernie, not Hillary, Not Beto. It was the perfect confluence of circumstances that got rid of the most extreme American President in recent history.
