You left points on the board in a game you lost by 1 at home? How do you not have a problem with that coaching strategy?

I don't really have a problem because at the time we were down 11 points. Now, the defense only allowed 13 for the game, but they did give up almost 400 yards of offense and Smith completed like 80% of his passes so to ask them to keep holding may have been a tall order. We did get kind of lucky that Smith missed Ware down the sideline for a sure TD

The QB gave the other team 9 points by himself. That's pretty much the difference in the game IMO.

I agree with you about us still allowing the fake punt coming out of a TO though.

I have a huge problem with going for it on 4th at your 10. At that time in the third Q we were down 11. If you get the FG you're only down 8. He started chasing points too early and in a game we lost by 1, giving up FGs and PAT chances is just stupid to me

I just don't see DQ being a coach who in game will elevate his decision making enough to win games. Team slid out of the playoffs b/c of poor coaching that SF being the worst of all. This year's team is sliding again because of poor coaching

Yea there are issues on defense. Yea Kyle can get away from the run at times. But the coaching has been a constant issue since DQ's first day

When Kyle Shannahan came on, I called it that people were going to put blame on him for the things we've been seeing from the offense before KS came on. And right on que, you and others blamed him, now that Matt was putting up numbers ( because that is all you care about and what things appear to be) kyle was the man.

I'm much more concerned with the coaching than I am the defense TBH. The defense was gonna be up and down this yr because we got younger on purpose. But you have a head coach who told you in the offseason that he was gonna be recklessly aggressive in these situations because of what happened at the end of the SF game last yr (when we went for a FG instead of going for a TD on 4th down). Thats a much deeper and persistent problem than the defense

Being a fan of defensive football, it's hard to watch this team give up seven 20 + yard plays to the Chiefs. The defense wasn't the sole reason why the Falcons lost but they were part of the problem. They simply can't be trusted and with Quinn's suspect decision making, I don't know how anybody can be confident about the Falcons chances in the playoffs. Assuming they make it of course.

On yesterdays game, defense played a decent game imo,forced a turnover and did what they could.

Offense, like every year it's a mix of questionable play calling and poor choices be made in game.

Falcon fans don't know which will show up week to week.

Devonte Freeman is a beast and would have been the safer higher % option for the 2 point conversions and or a quick screen to Taylor Gabrial


Them getting caught with the fake punt was on coaching and pure laziness.

Yea it's unacceptable where we're at with the defense...defense definitely hasn't improved as a total unit despite the fact that the pass rush has dramatically improved.

DQ gives me less confidence in a coaching chess match than any coach we've had since Jim Mora Jr. shyt I still get mad that DQ celebrates like a mental patient over the most insignificant shyt. Why are you jumping up & down over a 59 yd FG when you're losing at halftime at home? SMH

It's concerning that DQ has not shown or isn't capable of outwitting coaches. Andy Reid badly out coached him on Sunday in a pretty evenly matched game.

Now DQ does have a chance to redeem himself in the next 4 weeks starting with LA, but I'll still be nervous because his mindset is hyper aggressive to the point where he's unable to make decisions that benefit the team for the total game
