Haiti and Africa need foreign investment and they need to break their reliance on Western powers. This is the reality that's in front of them.

China is not forcing these nations to accept unfair conditions. If the leaders of a country are semi-competent they can make certain stipulations that benefit their county and minimize any harm that might result from an agreement (it could regulate the number of expats for instance).

China is not a colonizer of Africa or Haiti ffs... By any definition! Why is this even a discussion??
