‘Preglimony’ Would Make Men Financially Responsible for Pregnancies or Abortions

now why would being forced to compensate women when they are pregnant something men would love to do?
If a man doesn't want/like having to ensure the upkeep and health of the woman who is carrying his legacy, he probably should watch who he's fukkin' and how he's doing it :mjpls:

Imagine your father letting your mom pay all of her own medical bills, etc. while she's pregnant and he's chillin' on the side like :russ:

If that ain't some BS, IDK what is :lolbron: LOL @ Being "forced" to ensure your seed grows up inside a healthy and taken care of womb. :dead:

You know if the child is yours or not during pregnancy and not after. Something that unlike women, men have never been able to know in history. This way you can't get "trapped" paying for a baby that isn't yours.

As far as financially compensating, put the bitterness aside and think about the situation. You both make a mistake and pregnancy happens, so she should foot the bill of the child medical expenses or abortion herself? Makes no sense.

The only complicated case is when she doesn't want the child and the man does. And even then it ain't that complicated. You can compensate her for the work of carrying the child for 9 months and then take custody, or you can accept that you aren't the one carrying it if she rejects financial compensation and move on to find a woman who has values more in line with your own.

Bitter label is one of the most common labels of feminists and their cosigners when they know they're pushing some nonsense.
For one, I don't believe in abortion. My qualm isn't about men having to pay for the abortion of their child if they are the one pushing for it. My qualm is about men being forced by law to pay for women being pregnant... aka child support before the child is even born. Why in the world should a man have to compensate a woman for getting pregnant? And this early parenting test can easily be done without having a man have to give women another free stream of income.

Stream of income for some lab tests and check ups :heh:

Anyway the article is essentially talking about helping pay for prenatal care. But you say the father of the child shouldn't have to help pay for that. Who do you think should?

One of the potential ramifications is that men might be called upon to help support their pregnant lovers before birth, even if the pregnancy is ultimately terminated or ends in miscarriage. They might be asked to chip in for medical bills, birthing classes and maternity clothes, to help to cover the loss of income that often comes with pregnancy, or to contribute to the cost of an abortion.

"Woman's choice", woman's responsibility. If we're going to implement this, we're going to need to give men the veto right over an abortion. If she wants to abort, a man needs to be able to veto that abortion. Otherwise, why should a man pay for a 'woman's body'?

Let me just quote this nice comment:
In a world where only the woman has informed consent on the level of birth control used (after all she is the only one who knows whether she is taking the pill consistently and correctly, or that she has an IUD), can abort the unborn child using the morning after pill or an explicit abortion, can leave a father's name off of the birth certificate, or give up the child for adoption or give it to the government to take care of, the disproportionate rights given to the mother should also come with disproportionate obligations on the mother ...

Because he's not paying for the woman's body, he's paying for the child (his child) in the woman's body?

Why, in a debate about child care, is your biggest concern about the adult woman you chose to have sex with?

Funny enough, you'd think the woman had no expenses whatsoever in the situation and it was all the man paying for everything.

Oh ok, so all of a sudden it's a child when it comes to the man paying the woman, but it's not a child, but rather a part of the woman's body when it comes to abortion and her ability to do so without the man's consent?

SMH. The way these females are trying to play men in america contributes to the reasons as to why I will not wife a woman from the US or Canada. North American women just seem to get more fukked up mentally every ten years. If I decide to settle down I'll probably grab a woman from Asia, Brazil, Africa or even Eastern Europe or the Mediterranean.

:why:

It is still a child either way. And in both cases the article is talking about the man helping to pay for either the abortion or prenatal care.

Your problem is that you think a man should have a choice in whether an abortion happens or whether the child is taken to term. Ok, I get it. But I still don't get why you think you should have equal say in a process that is not equal?

You may have made an equal decision with the woman to have sex, but after that, nothing is equal about pregnancy. You won't get paid the same for doing less work :manny:
