Pre-ordering is one of the most stupidest things ever

they're online policy states you should only see the authorization hold once and then not again til it ships. like amazon says.

I wanted to know if that was a policy for rewards zone members too because that's incredibly fukked up. I feel like as much money as we spend in that store to even get to the point of being "rewards zone" status means we shouldn't have to deal with that kinda crap

Only place I'll preorder shyt from is Amazon. Reason being they don't charge you shyt until they ship.

Wouldn't you rather allow your own money to work for you? I'm not sure why giving these stores your money for longer periods of time is easier than just managing your money better.

I am managing my money lol. If you can cop four games a month at 65 a pop (200+ a month) then ball out but I can't so this is what I do to make sure I get the games that I want. The money I am giving them two months ahead of time is "throw away money" that is left after keeping some, paying bills etc. I laughed at nikkaz when I was a manager at EB Games and would see dudes walk in and cop two games on Friday just to trade them in at a 50% within less than a week. My money always works for me I'm just letting the pre order process work for me.

Never preordered a movie...but I have occasionally preordered a game but only if it came with a (physical) preorder bonus...but haven't done that in years since most bonuses now are fukking DLC.
