The hate against the WNBA is soo manufactured and phony. It's very transparent because of how ridiculous the slander and the lame forced “jokes” are.

A lot of people don't really know what exactly they are hating. Just following the sentiments of politicians. The tipping point of the “hate” for the WNBA was the Brittney Griner situation and the fact that the league is very open about it's stances on race.

If you hate and dislike the WNBA then you're not really a fan of the sport of basketball 👌🏾 as you claim to be...people be telling on themselves.

Real basketball fans who love and appreciate the sport respect anybody that can ball, man or woman.
It’s really not that complicated. For me and others, it’s simply an inferior product. They’ve never had a Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Curry etc.

The real backlash comes from this entitlement that the WNBA should receive similar perks and pay to the NBA despite not generating the same revenue.

It’s no different from lady tennis players demanding the same pay as their male counterparts despite playing less sets. It makes zero sense.

Once they start upping the quality of their players and brand, then their “demands” will be legitimate. Until then, they can’t whine about not receiving NBA level perks when their talent doesn’t justify it. It’s like a 5/10 broad expecting 10/10 dime pretty privilege. It’s straight up delusional.

And believe me, I’ve tried to watch them play many times but when you watch the very best in the NBA to them, the stark contrast in quality is staggering. You can’t go from flying in first class and act as if economy is just as good.

Your first paragraph just tells me you're not a true fan of basketball. Both leagues play basketball the same way minus a few minor differences. The WNBA has had notable all-time individual talents and team dynasties and (Houston Comets of the 00s, the Minnesota Lynx during the 2010s, and most recently the Las Vegas Aces) and the players you named would confirm that, it's just you and many others are uninformed and have little to no knowledge of the league because you're not true followers of the sport of basketball itself.

It's like when I read people on Facebook saying they didn't know the WNBA existed yet have the nerve to call themselves basketball fans...if you are indiscriminately a fan of basketball, you'd know the WNBA and how long the league has been in existence and it's notable players and teams.

This is what I mean by politics, your disdain for the league is based on perceived gender entitlement and things that have less to do with the sport itself. Players requesting better pay and benefits shouldn't turn you off from watching them play as that has no impact on their game or the outcome of a game but, since you're clouded by personal beliefs that are rooted in politics it's preventing you from appreciating women's basketball.

For those that love the game, we can enjoy floor seats for the cheap cheap!

Name 5 players without googling
Brianna Stewart
Britney Griner
Candace Parker
A’ja Wilson
Diana Taurisi

And I don’t remember their names off the top of my head but you have that one girl that was in that Mark Cuban commercial and the other girl that just won the 3 point contest a few days ago.:skip:

The simps just got in here first. The first few replies of a thread usually dictates the direction it goes in. There's a strange hivemind mentality here.

The correct reaction should have been "Who gives a shyt"

Clout chasing to the max and these goofies get rewarded for that instead of actually having some talent. I hope he catches strays on other avenues.

You’re better than me. All I could think of was Diana Taurasi, Candace Parker and Brittney Griner

I think said to myself….”shyt name 5 teams”

I got the Sparks and that’s it.
