Yall still want to get rid of him:sas2:

Thought it was silly to wanna get rid of Duran. He's 21 years old.

He has great coaching now. Early this season he was thinking too much and was always a step late.

Plus he's a really good passer and I think he could potentially extend the range to 15ft. He's a pretty good FT shooter

Same with Ivey people expectations are too wild. If a 20 year old don’t look like LeBron after year 2 yall throw him to the bushes.
I don't think that's it at all. People just have player archetypes that we think might be better fits for overall team building. That in no way means current players can't develop and get better. I'm not one of these fake ass wannabe analyst here that gets so locked in on an opinion that they ignore all the changing evidence in front of them.

Duren has been playing better defensively for sure. That doesn't mean it wasn't terrible earlier in the season either. Glad to see growth there as well as him getting better with his decision making when passing. Him and Ausar leveling up has helped the team's overall growth tremendously. Ausar especially on ball has become much more of an offensive threat without having to be a decent 3pt shooter. That kind of development puts me a lot more at ease with being locked into the playoffs instead of potentially upgrading the talent with another lottery pick. It looks like the 6th seed is theirs to lose and they could possibly work their way even higher.
