Exactly. If you wanna go this cliche Shakespearian tragedy route...cool do that. But build this nikka up first. Actually make him little Ghost. Make him have supreme intellect and heart and able to handle shyt on his own. If you build him up like that and give him legit reasons to want to kill his dad (and don't telegraph it for 3 years) then you got something. Instead, you give him every bytch made quality imaginable and try to pass if off as "he was so hurt, angry, confused"

The most unfortunate thing to me is he hasn’t been given any material to really show his chops or stretch his ability. As of now, there’s no way to tell if he’sa decent actor or trash because the writing has been inconsistent.

I think season 2 starring 2-bit would be better to be honest. I mean he’s a likable character by far and he’s kemp’s boyfriend or whatever.

I laugh every time I see him because he’s just a funny nikka. I can’t stand seeing Ghost’s bytch ass son.

How's that any different than Tariq? Tariq is not from the streets, doesn't understand the streets. He has no connects, no supply. He's green as fucck and would likely get finessed and killed if he tried to become a power player. Yet somehow it's believed he will rise to power. Atleast 2-Bit knows the game and the players

its not different the writing sucks when they tried to push tariq in this show

i'd rather watch yazz become the mary j blige character on book 2.

2bit is some low level goon we know nothing about. tariq atleast has a backstory. But i'd rather not watch any of them. 2bit is more likeable atleast he knows who he is. But he hasn't shown any acumen of being able to carry an entire show.

Low level goon is better than not being a goon at all



At least with 2-bit you have a likable character that’s funny. That shyt would be a comedy show.

We know tariq’s story, but what does that mean? Who cares?

It’s even better we know nothing about 2-bit, that way we can have a show that goes more into that.
