Another thing that doesn’t make sense; wasn’t this show supposed to end with Ghost and Tommy going against each other? They said that the final entry was between them.

I’m really thinking that they changed the ending last minute because kemp is a dumbass.

The ending of the show was just so random and didn’t even start until episode 10.

It’s like from episode 10 and on, it was a whole different plot from the beginning of season 6.

She admitted that Tommy was never an option to kill Ghost so essentially the Team Tommy/Team Ghost thing and honestly Angela’s death storyline was filler as it never really mattered in the grand scheme of things.

A few episodes in, it was obvious that they weren’t going to kill each other, so it was a waste of time that could have been devoted to other storylines. Teresi’s death in the end mattered to the plot more than Angela’s.

They should have just let Tariq been the one to kill her and played up the son/dad tension for the final season.

Unfortunately, they were stuck on getting Tariq his spinoff one way or another at the expense of everybody else.

I hate how outlandish and wacky they wrote Tommy’s character as there’s essentially no where for the character to go without it being a rehash of what we have already seen in seasons prior. He’s killed so many killed and committed countless crimes that his story (even in the spinoff) has to end by either him ending up jail or dead. He got the same plot armor that Dre did yet people never seemed to complain about it.

I wonder how early in advance did they know about the spinoffs for all of these characters would be greenlit as their endings made no sense for how they wrote them during the season (Tommy and Tate)

Good point, why switch the story up when the truth could have died with him. Logically it made more sense for them to not try to pin the murder on someone else.

Easy, so they could get the money from the will and she doesn't have to be his pawn. You know that white charcter is a scum bag and his money comes with strings attached.

Easy to start a show, harder to end it well.

The thing is if just sold Truth she would have the money to send Tariq to whatever school he wanted and take care of her daughter. Then she could cut off all ties to him once the deal is done.

Tasha was street smart tho. She put him on game with drug dealing and even did her thing with dealing out the nursery.
