If Tasha and Ghost were still married there is no way he could lock her out of all assets that were earned during the marriage.

Why didn't they just stick with blaming Dre for the murder? Dead men can't defend themselves?

Who thinks anyone wants to watch a Tariq spinoff. He has no redeeming qualities

Edit: He actually did have a prenup but doubt that changes much. Not sure how that works in real life.

Good point, why switch the story up when the truth could have died with him. Logically it made more sense for them to not try to pin the murder on someone else.

Easy, so they could get the money from the will and she doesn't have to be his pawn. You know that white charcter is a scum bag and his money comes with strings attached.

Her explanation is some BS, she was going for a Shakespearian tragedy but clearly lacks the skill to pull that shyt off, why not make Tariq a sympathetic character that succumbs to the darkness that is within his parents? as for the cinematic universe, it can work on a TV level I'm not sure if Starz / Power can pull it off

I'm not saying I would ever want to see this, and they probably wouldn't execute this well anyway, but if they really wanted to tell this specific story and go this route, why choose Tariq? Why not go with Raina?

The problem here is that Raina died right before she was becoming a more interesting character. She was beginning to learn more about her parents' past, and was becoming suspicious of what was going on with Tariq, but the difference is she was way more likable and sympathetic than Tariq. She got caught up in a dangerous situation because she was trying to help Tariq. And it was her idea for her and Tariq to go to Choate so they could leave their problems behind.

Seeing Raina become more corrupt and eventually turn on Ghost is something that lines up a lot more with what Courtney was trying to do. Raina actually had a pure heart and just wanted a normal life, unlike Tariq. If she got tired of nobody telling her the truth and ended up doing something like killing Ghost, the writing could at least justify that. I don't know, I'm just throwing it out there.

Tariq obviously g9nna be the top pill dope dealer at his college. So alot of the appeal (no pun intended) is gonna be a younger audience. But he still gonna need a mentor. If its Tosha thats not gonna work me. She in jail because shes not street smart
