Power Season 6 (Official Thread) - No Spoilers

This shyt was all over the place. They’re gonna need some tighter writing in these spinoffs since a lot of people I know (here and in real life) gave up on the show already. Courtney is not as clever as she thinks and the show has suffered tremendously from lack of direction, forethought, pacing, and planning. They seem to plan each episode in a vacuum.

Now that the arc is done, I believe they could have definitely cut out a lot of the filler and had 12 episodes that got straight to the point without boxing themselves into the multiple perspective stuff. A lot of those could have been eliminated because most of the time they weren’t revealing anything special telling the story from the other perspective.

It would have helped if Starz didn’t wait until the last season to give them more than 10 episodes. That would have helped with the pacing a lot in previous seasons, which would have more than likely helped with this one as well. The entire show especially after the killing of Lobos just felt so rushed.

Ghost was shytting on everybody pretty bad on his “I’m unstoppable” tour but at the end of the day, he was a man held back by the people around him who ultimately weren’t shyt without him

I hope book 2 isn't just about Tariq. The only expectation/hope that I had for this season was that someone kills Dre and Tariq stops being dumb. Dre died, but not before pulling off more Dre shyt by getting arrested for murder & then getting released by agreeing to testify about against Ghost. Tariq became the worst character on the show. I could underatand if any of the other characters killed Ghost & I would have been fine with it. At least they had a somewhat legit reason for killing him. Tariq destroyed his whole family, because he's mad that his father didn't openly admit to being a drug dealer. He wasn't even mad at Vincent for keeping his cut of the kidnapping money. His character made no sense.

Yeah. Kanan said so in Season 2 when he was talking to Dre in the food spot. It was a woman that called the police.

What also makes me mad is how Ghost has no closure, they did him dirty af.

Dude went from the best character of the show to just another dude dead.

Didn’t even get to see a funeral or anything.

I think courtney kemp is hating on omari because he was moving on to bigger things.

she probably wanted omari or was jealous he made the show.

do y’all realize that ghost really had no ending? He didn’t get to be with his daughter or angie, he didn’t get anything.

she doesn’t care about her fans at all, I’m going to say 99% of us wanted Ghost to make it alive or at least go out like a G.

He went out so fukkin weak, he got killed by the pussiest nikka on the show.

Tommy cac ass gets to ride off in the sunset and the worst character actually has a show coming on during the summer.

Big fukk you to the fans, and I don’t even watch tv at all, this was the only series I really watched and enjoyed.

Ghost was a great character, Omari played his role very well and was the only reason I watched the show.

fukk courtney kemp and whoever thought getting rid of ghost and the ending was a good idea.

I honestly would have liked to have seen the ghost of Angie with him as he was dying given the fact he was seeing her in the early part of the season. She could have said something like "I'm sorry this happened to you. You were beginning to turn the corner and had it all taken away from you. Maybe now we can be together forever exactly like we planned (call back to the episode title)."

Again, I'm no writer, but it would have been closure for the character in addition to the post credit scene.

I already watched the final episode and Tate's one weeks ago due to all the leaks, so I didn't bother to tune in, not even to watch it in HD. There's no replay value to this bullshyt.

Tasha is a piece of shyt and got what she deserved, but watch feminist troll Courtney Kemp write it so that her character gets released on some bullshyt technicality.

Oh well, seasons 1 & 2 was a good crime drama series. After that, shyt fell off and turned into a total joke.

I'm not even looking forward to the spinoffs if the writing of Power is anything to go by.
