Only spinoffs I’m interested in will be the prequel and Tommy’s. Give the character nobody likes a spin-off brehs.

To be honest, not even Tommy’s character needs a spinoff because of unrealistic they wrote him. 30+ murders in the show on top of all the crimes he’s committed yet he gets off as a free man to go to Cali with no repercussions and more than likely be wrote the same way again. He got the same plot armor that people complained about Dre having yet people barely mentioned it.
Tate doesn’t need one either as his whole arc was about becoming Governor and after he accomplishes that, there’s really no where else for him to go. Not to mention that his character alone isn’t interesting enough to carry a spinoff. A miniseries maybe for his election run, but not an entire spinoff.

But, 50 and the crew really wanna be on some Fast and Furious shyt with 10 damn spinoffs.

- How can Tariq shoot Ghost at Truth and the place is wired with dozens of cameras
- Ghost is on a major party ticket for governor but has ZERO security leading up to the election. And he doesn’t have a driver
- Saxe and Tasha EASILY get into Truth and not thru the front door. Why are no security alarms going off and shouldn’t there be footage of the back doors/loading dock areas?
- Not a single Truth security guard or even a worker cleaning up after the event was present when he got shot. Insane.
- Amazing that dude Tasha was fukking gets a warrant literally thrown in his face, gets arrested and the gun is found in under a minute. Brilliant police work and aside from breaking down his door, they didn’t completely ransack his place
- How the fukk does Saxe immediately get his job back and is on THIS particular case. Considering his dirty track record dealing with these specific people, this is a glaring conflict of interest.
- Truth is hosting an event with the mayor, rich NYC CACs and there’s likely TONS of law enforcement there so why the fukk isn’t Truth surrounded with cops during the event and how does Tariq magically have the ability to stash a gun and clothes and then use the gun and change into the clothes in world record time
Aside from that, Tariq is an idiot and chose the wrong parent to follow. His dad is about to be politically connected and he wants to help Tasha sell crack (and maybe pills) at a daycare center. Only smart one was Tasha’s mom. She told her to let Ghost do his thing because she knew who was footing the bill and she’s an old head who understood the game.

Especially since they specifically mentioned back in season 4 during Ghost’s trial that there were security cameras all over the club. Yet they aren’t conveniently working during the night of his murder.
The DNC was all about covering Ghost’s background and probably even knew about them (they knew of the Angela incident) yet they didn’t try to get him around the clock security just in case that person tried to kill him again.
I don’t see how they can even bring Saxe into the fold for the spinoff. He’s a walking conflict of interest no matter what way they write him (assuming he’s still apart of the government/law field.)

If I were them, I would acknowledge the fukkery and plot holes that they wrote themselves into. Completely reboot the entire law enforcement side of things and have the new person in charge admit the fukkups of the previous administration and what all happened to them. Exactly what they did with Warner, except with an entire new cast of characters. That way you can reboot that side of things while also pivoting Saxe into a different role
