They waited until it was too late and people canceled their Starz account weeks before they said that shyt. It wouldn’t have been as bad and they could have gotten away with saying it as well if episode 14 didn’t leak as well.

Once episode 14 aired and matched the leak word for word, the multiple ending shyt wasn’t going to fly.

They know their audience by and large isn't that smart lol, if they tell people they have multiple endings they'll believe it. Like you said ep 14 was a leak as well, there was nowhere else for them to go, plus we already knew the deal with the spinoff.
