Personally I thought it was good. Ghost of all people should not have made it out clean. Way too many demons. The same with Tasha. Tariq should have stayed out the game, but he wanted to play so bad. Tommy and Saxe are lucky to be alive.

If 50 wants to get all them spinoffs off the ground he’s gonna have to let go of Courtney Kemp and get some competent writers. The fact that they had that knee jerk response to the timeline of the entire series spoke volumes.

Every street related tv show needs to study the wire on how to do character development, nuance, and continuity.

If Courtney wants to be the showrunner/head writer of at least one of the spinoffs, that's cool. She created the whole universe, so it makes sense.

But imagine the same writing staff doing all four spinoffs/prequels. They need to have different writers and producers for these shows because they're going to spread themselves thin with all the extra work.

I stopped watching 2 seasons ago. My husband baited me with that we don’t watch power together no more and I started watching this season. The writing is bad and they do over the top shyt to overcompensate for it. I should divorce my husband for saying this is better than the wire.

Seems there was no real reason for Tasha to play the Q card. Dre being dead was even better because then he couldn't talk. Tasha is a complete dumbass.

The Q Card was her way to get back at Ghost for dogging her, brothers please do the knowledge, Shawn and Terry Silver were all pawns, Q moved like a knight.

That’s where I’m at with this.

I essentially thought it was a decent ep and ending. Some folks will never be happy or will complain cuz it didn’t end their way or just for the sake of complaining.

i gave up expecting these characters to have rules they abide to as criminals. the wire was instrumental in teaching mainstream audiences the true thinking of a criminal on all levels. unwritten laws you adhere to, never on the phone, dont speak in rooms, always have muscle watch your step,

people on power always talked on the phone, half the time didnt wear gloves, cameras never seemed to catch anyone doing anything, spoke of criminal activity freely anywhere even in the middle of manhattan, rolled alone all the time, text after text implicating themselves. etc. clearly these guys lived in a world im not familiar with.

Cameras finally saw something in the last episode to go exonerate Q.

They had DNA evidence in Tariq at the murder scene of Ray Ray and they didn't bring the kid in. Multiple cops and federal agents murdered on the show, no one locked up for those. The Democratic party shut down a FBI murder investigation.

Show is absolute trash. It started off really well, but somewhere around season 2 it just got very sloppy and never recovered.

It pains me to bash this show since it has a majority black cast, writers, film crew but trash is trash.
