Because Tasha wasn’t the person running away from the club, it was Tariq.
The person who killed Ghost and was running out the door don’t necessarily have to be the same person.
It would be dumb writing to still have the killer in the club when Tommy shows up. Especially what all took place after Dre heard the gun shot and body hit the ground.

I guess I’ll throw my prediction in the ring....Tariq being Ghost’s killer has always made the most sense from what they’ve shown on screen and what we know about him getting a spin-off. They’ve laid the clues suggesting it’s Tariq on kinda thick, almost too thick, which makes me agree with those saying he’s too obvious of a choice for Courtney to go with.
That’s why I think the curve will be that Tasha ends up doing the deed to spare him from having that on his shoulders for the rest of his life. I DON’T think Tariq and Tasha are in cahoots about this. I think by the end of the next episode we’ll be almost certain it’s Tariq. But in the end Tariq is gonna show up to Truth to kill Ghost, have the gun raised but unbeknownst to him Tasha is behind him and takes the shot first. Ghost is talking to Tariq when he says “you don’t have to do this” or whatever he says right before he gets shot. Tariq is walking towards him, but then Tasha steps out from the side and blasts him. Tariq is looking down on Ghost when Tommy comes in and that’s who Ghost tells Tommy to let it go about thinking that Tariq shot him. Tommy leaves and Tasha walks up and pretty much tells Tariq she’s did that so hopefully he won’t have to go thru that, and then exits stage left riding a camel.

There was a small part of Tommy that appreciated how smart she was.That is kinda weird. Maybe he didn’t want people knowing who his family was. But it is weird because the mafia world seems small and connected on the show. Tommy knew Vincent’s people and Vincent knew Benny’s and Proctor’s people. Seems weird Tommy didn’t know Proctor was related to all of these guys but maybe Proctor tried to distance himself to become a lawyer. And Proctor maybe didn’t want to get his family involved for that reason.
