Mike the Executioner
What went on up there? Poppers and weird sex!
All they had to do was make Tariq likable by making him look up and respect his father for giving him a good life he never had. He could have asked him to teach him the game or something instead of bytching and saying he’s a lair and all that bullshyt.
He even treated his sister like shyt and pushed her out the room for no reason.
He bytches to every single person when he doesn’t get his way.
Kanan ain’t act like that. No one on the show is more bytch made than Tariq and I can’t see how a story will do well with him as a lead.
To be honest, I wish Shawn was still around and was more on Ghost side because his character was way better except he was wayyyyy to green and didn’t have the heart, but he had the character.
Shawn went right to Kanan side and always stuck by him, he just couldn’t do that to Ghost, which is good that he didn’t because he still had loyalty to the man that took him in, but he was in a bad spot because of it too.
Then you got Tariq bytch ass getting Kanan killed and talking shyt to his father.
Everyone who tries to help him with anything he bytches to.
Tariq is loyal to his own cause, just like Tommy said. He doesn't care about anybody or anything but his own interests. I honestly believe that if Tasha was in his way, or prevented him from getting what he wanted, he would resent her/hurt her in some way too.
This would be fine if Tariq was the antagonist of the show, and we weren't supposed to identify with him or like him, but the writers obviously want us to. At the same time, they keep making his character more irritating, more selfish, and more stupid with every episode, so I don't know how he's supposed to carry an entire show and be someone fans can get behind.
I don't know why they bothered investing in his character anyway. There's nothing interesting about him. Before he became one of the WOAT TV characters, he stayed in school, played basketball, and liked video games. We still don't have a reason as to why he wants to sell drugs, so all that he really has going for him is his hatred for Ghost. His relationship with Kanan gave him some kind of humanity, but he's pretty much been a blank slate for the entire series. And once it's over, he's probably going to become an even worse character.
