Oh yeah!!

And Ghost was still caring about that nikka when he almost got got!! Ungrateful bytch ass nikka!!

If we’re being honest, that was the beginning of the end of Tariq’s and Ghost’s relationship as it was no coming back from that point.

Explain it to me breh, not disagreeing just trying to understand more

The night that they were supposed to go to the Knicks game until the Jamaicans showed and tried to kill them until Milan showed up. Tariq was initially excited as hell as he mentioned always wanting to go to a game while spending time with his dad. After Milan saved them and Ghost got back car, he took all of that fear and anger out on Tariq. Breh was disappointed as hell and you know it’s certain moments as with your parents that you don’t forget.

It would have been the perfect time to be up front and honest with Tariq about everything and probably would have helped salvage their relationship. Unfortunately, he never did and the writers have done a terrible job mentioning it again or even following up on it.

Episode made Dre seem like he was a tortured soul. Real dark and gloomy episode. Nothing about this episode was bright. From his mom to everyone it had a real cold vibe.

I take his death as his soul was burning. Like he told his mom about his daughter Heaven this the only heaven we know cuz people like me and you ain't gonna make it thete.

Episode climate reminded me of something out of Tales From The Hood

So a moment where something his dad doesn't want to tell him, about him damn near getting slaughtered right in front of him, leads him to hate his father and wants him dead? Because of a damn Knicks game? shyt we'd all want to hate our parents if that's all it takes to justify it.

It all goes back to Ghost not being up front and honest with him.

I totally think it’s crazy that Tariq hates Ghost as much as he does and think his actions are dumb as hell with no sense, but I also go back to that incident as to why things are fractured between them.

He never acted like he was a big fan of his father to begin with, he just acted like a regular kid. He started acting like how he acts now when he found out Ghost was cheating on Tasha.

Ghost lied to him because he doesn’t want to be linked with that life. Would you really tell your child you were a corner boy criminal when you want him to live a life so far away from it?

Ghost risked his life trusting Kanan to save him, the little nikka barely gave him a thanks. He and Tommy both risked their lives for 2 million to save that lil nikka, when he fukkin lied about the whole shyt.

Now while he’s still angry, he tries to be fake nice to have Ghost take the blame for him for shyt that he didn’t have to do? He is the reason for his sis being gone. He tryna be something he not.

All Ghost did was cry for the nikka and do stuff for him while his son hates him.

And get this!! The father figure he looked up to? Kanan! He got him killed!!

That lil nikka a bytch and doesn’t have any reason to hate Ghost this much to want him gone.

Ghost did everyone way worse than that lil nikka.

That rant wasn’t for you, but his character is such a piece of shyt lol.
Well said, Tariq a trust fund baby out here tryna be on some Kingpin shyt lol

Obviously I’m not trying to use it to justify Tariq’s actions or the way that he has been carrying himself as something as trivial as that wouldn’t make me want to go be a drug dealer.

I just mentioned it as one of the reasons why their relationship became fractured. It would have became that way even if Tariq never “wanted to learn the game and got under Kanan’s influence”.

You can’t be serious. So tariq is justified in hating his father to the point of wanting him dead because they missed some bullshyt knicks game?

You fukked up from the door by trying to apply logic to the storyline. There’s little logic to the storylines. There’s no logical reason for tariq to hate ghost. Not only did he provide him with a life of luxury and privilege. He bailed his bytchass out countless times. He literally saved his life on at least 2 different occasions. When jukebox was bout to kill, ghost swooped in. When the little Italian toy mafia dude had him and was bout to kill him, ghost swooped in. Ghost even had his last put herself on the line keeping him out of jail over killing that cop. Tariq owes everybody yet is somehow the most selfish entitled irrational character on the show. He and Tasha are the worst characters by far.

I'm not one on the group think train of always wanting to shyt on the writing yet still watch every episode, but I do wish they would have used a more climactic or emotion driven way of revealing that Ghost is truly dead other than a blip on the news Dre saw while getting some fake Funyuns. He is THE iconic character on the show and the reason the show even exists, more than Tommy or Tasha. Him being revealed as dead gotta be bigger than that.

Probably final episode Ghost will get his due, since it will be from the killers perspective and all.
