I guess I'm going to be one of the few people who is actually rooting for Tariq now. IDK. Season is half way over and kid still hasn't even properly grieved his sister. He gets too much of a bad rap when he's just a product of his environment and Ghost and Tasha's shytty parenting. This ALL goes back to them. IDC.

He told Ghost right...material things MEAN nothing when all you've done is lie and cheat about what REALLY matters. All that materialistic shyt means nothing if you're not keeping it real in other ways. All this shyt going on is their fault. Period. Ghost is trash. Tasha is trash. Throw the WHOLE parents away. Rooting for what? Him to continue down the road to self destruction?

I hear you and this is a fair criticism. To be honest this is what happens on the 5th season of a drug related show. Drug shows don’t and can’t last that long. At this point a main character has to die.

It's called bad writing. So many directions the show couldve went in. They chose to drag out 6 months of storyline in 5 years and filled it with a bunch of illogical fukkery. Writers are just terrible.

Ghost use to have drinking problems his pops was a drunk he use to never drink on the earlier seasons, he's spiraling cuz of everything that's happened

that's why he hit rock bottom this past episode

Remember when he was tryna get the drop on milan and was going to the serb bars drinking and he was passed out on the couch and tasha was like "ghost you drinkin again?" he said his go to line that he had a plan and had everything under control

remember when ghost was a total tetotaler and would NOT touch alcohol? now he's a full blow alcoholic.

You haven’t been paying attention. Ever since season 1 it has been suggested that Ghost was formerly an alcoholic. As the show progressed he’s been slipping back into his bad habits (starting with the murder of Rollo). It’s not something the writers just threw in. Ghost’s alcohol problems have been foreshadowed since the very beginning.
