Her and Ghost are both stupid af.Ghost needs to get himself together. You can't be halfway out the lifestyle, trying to rekindle an old flame with the woman, who's unit wants to put you in jail

You could say Ghost is grieving and everybody hits rock bottom at some point in life which is true, but he's been a dumbass since Season 3.
People been comparing the Soprano kid to Tariq, but despite what we think of Tariq he has legitimate reasons for why he turned out the way he did. AJ Soprano was just typical of a lot of spoiled cac kids - a loser from the beginning despite having attentive parents and the whole world given to them, only to lose it mentally over one thing. Even though Tony soprano tried to hide the fact he was in the mafia, that was back in Season 1 and when the kids finally found out it was
whatever. At least Tony from that point never denied who he was.
Tariq had as much materially but not only do his parents keep insulting his intelligence and treating him like an idiot, they're always lying to him. Not to mention the fact that all they care about is outside p*ssy and dikk. Tariq brought his issues to BOTH of them in Season 3 but they're still absorbed in their own worlds and then blaming each other without sitting down and considering how to make it right.
The reason Tariq gravitates towards Kanan isn't really about the excitement of crime, it's because as a young kid you will gravitate to ANYBODY who appears to give you a listening ear and have your back - that's why so many people join gangs, cults, prostitution etc. Tariq said last night he doesn't give a shyt about their fancy apartment all the nice things. They only want to be 'honest' with him now when the horse has already bolted from the stable. I don't expect a young impressionable kid to know any better. Ghost is a failure of a father and Tasha is a hypocrite.

Didn’t like this episode for the most part. Felt like everyone just repeating the same actions they have before and running in place. Ghost was the only one who seemed to be doing something different and hopefully the last scene doesn’t erase that development.
It's easy for a kid who's never grew up poor to not care about all the nice things and the fancy apartment. Tariq is just a dumbass kid with no perspective on what it means to take care of people and be an adult.

Having Jordans and a XBox in your room doesn't take the place of what a kid needs. The point is, if they were doing their job as parents from the beginning and paid attention to what he was saying from day one then things could have turned out differently. Some parents think just throwing money at their kid is all they need to do.
