Walter Payton was tough but much like the rest of this board y’all nikkas just see shyt through a fans lense. You’re from Chicago so you can’t be taken seriously…

Walter is not the GOAT

Stop.

All dem other backs were not a consistent winning franchise player like walter.
The bears oline is all marketing. They were nit that good. Walter was the best blocker amoung them.
Walter was the best blocking back in history.
As well as runner.
As well as the most intangibles.

Not to mention,....campbell played in the fukk'n afc.
Barry was a good elusive back.

Yet he was not walter either.
As he could not be relied upon.
without fail to orchestrate wins.

Before the 46.
Walter was playing qb when needed. Orchestrating wins for dolo.
When did barry do anything win wise for dolo.
All purpose for dolo to win consistently.

Oh i thought so.

Even with bo.
Bo got injured. Walter was never injured like bo.
To the point real conditioning in any sport.
Is based on walter's individual workouts films.
When anyone is trying to cross train.
That was because walter pretty much pioneered it.

I flanked the goat in rap too.

Above the fray.
Walter Payton

Saw him and Joe Montana on a TV show before and was surprised by how small they looked. Payton was trucking and steamrolling guys that outweighed by 40+ pounds. Even the dbs were bigger than him.
Jim Brown, himself ,cosigned Walter Payton's will to dominate and heart, and the old timers don't give it up like that.

Im not from Chi. Hes the GOAT to me.
We’ve discussed this.

Walter Payton was a great back..An All time Great but he had physical limitations that AD didn’t have.

And I don’t care about how he could play safety and QB either..

With the ball in his hands AD was better

He didn’t have the speed, power or the lateral explosion that AD had
