DeSantis is kinda like people out here buying concert tickets they can't afford, living their best life in debt. Sooner or later you're gonna have to go home and deal with that sink leak, dirty room, and no food in the fridge. When DeSantis loses the nom he's gonna have to go back to a Florida where he is significantly less popular than he was in the past, have to deal with more hurricane fallout, more insurance fukk ups, etc all while Disney laughs at him.
