and i still dont see trump nuking his own party; it doesnt make sense.
It does if you understand Trump's mentality, which is an amplification of the typical conservative mentality: If Trump can't dominate the party, then no one can.

He'd rather burn the party down than have people run it without him.

The GOP are, to a person, into fealty to the party. Trump only has fealty to himself and his ego.

the black cat is my crown...
Milo Yiannopoulos said:
It's time we put Jesus Christ first again in this country. Nothing and no one is going to get in our way to make that happen.

how can anyone with a dikk stuck way up their ass utter a statement like that... he thinks christ approves of that type of behavior......?

:why:

How do you lose the Republican governor of Arkansas?

It's cause MAGA ain't gonna win them votes anymore and knowing that, staying on the Trump train any longer will lead to the GOP's demise.

There's no clean break for anyone involved. The GOP had several exit ramps they could have gone off of, and they declined. They're stuck with Trump to the end for better (2016) or worse (everything since then).

Pretty much. They know now that Trump-ism is now a part of the GOPs permanent reputation, as much as Ronald Reagan.

Rupert Murdoch will have to JFK'd Trump to save the GOP.

It's plain as day obvious why Hutchinson and Christie along with Haley are saying they're going to run for the nomination in 2024 it's not because they think they can win. They have no shot in hell.

It's because they're trying to form like Voltron to weaken Trump. That's why all of them were in Vegas last week.

They've been told to take one for the team to get him outta the paint so he won't bludgeon DeSantis. Murdoch made that call.

Being told to take 3% here, 5% here and instead of Trump getting 40-50% now maybe he only gets 20-30%.

It's gonna backfire once homeboy runs as the MAGA party candidate.

A crowded field means Trump wins the nomination. Same thing happened in 2016.

I'm thinking (and may be totally wrong) is that he won't be sitting at the "big kid" table like he did in 2016. I think Murdoch and the donors will attempt to keep him away. Big failure awaits this tactic.

I think they're gonna attempt (however flalingly) to keep him at an arm's distance and not have him at the big tent events unlike last time. Unlike 2016 there's a much more sense of urgency on Democrats to not let him get anywhere close to winning.

Their problem is he already was invited before and won't play nice.

It's pretty obvious principles didn't matter only winning. And now that they've lost in 2018, 2020 and 2022 they think they've got a chance to get him out. Good luck :mjlol:

Christie is very good on the debate stage. Hes been in obscurity for a while though. I wonder what his angle is. I think some older Trump supporters were the type to have wanted Christie to run in 2012

Yeah he's toast and sitting on the show circuit now. They're really just trying to gang up on Trump now.
