This show needs to take a month off after the playoffs and have a company retreat. They feel listless right now. They need to reset on a steady cast. Also, Dan needs to make the call on a new EP, he’s not his best with Cote. They also need to convince Amin to join the show full time, he’s literally the best thing meadowlark has right now and Stu since the launch of meadowlark has just been stealing money at this point.


I also won’t miss Lucy nor Jessica, Dan needs to stop trying to force gender diversity, especially if he can’t find a woman from Florida who won’t bytch about living there every other appearance

Couldn't disagree more. Amin is very good in doses, but if you give him too much screen time or control the divorced dad dikkhead energy comes out. He's the worst kinda drunk and a cancellation waiting to happen.

Jessica (officially) leaving for NYC is bad for the show; besides Mike she's the only one in the studio who's not going to blindly follow Dan. Since he got married and his brother died Dan has been the worst thing about the show, repeating tired narratives (Belichick's dating life, every comedian is brilliant and intelligent) and insisting on rehashing bits that don't work nearly as well anymore. The show actually gets better when he's absent.

Also, Miami sucks. Great weather is just about the only thing going for it. Unless they hire Tony's MAGA state senator sister they're not gonna find a woman willing to live in that Republican haven.

Expect mike to be grouchy his side piece is gone. Unless the panthers do well in the playoffs

Show def needs a strong woman character there to balance it out. Definitely a minority who knows sports and gets the show.

It def needs another personality that is funny

We’ll just disagree on Amin, a better EP can direct both him and Dan. And most of Amin’s going off the rails is due to being in as a sub on days with no structure.


And there are plenty of women who love Florida, I’m sure they can find some sports fanatics from U of F or the U. But like, don’t take a job somewhere you hate. I know I don’t like Florida and therefore would pass. Jessica I don’t have an issue with as she at least did 4 years, Lucy was a shyt fit and that was a bad hire by Dan and poor acceptance by her.

As for funny, if they’d trim the fat, Amin and Billy definitely keep me entertained along with Greg Cote Tueadays

Jessica grew on me and has actually been one of my favourite shipping container members, as of late. Not gonna assume there’s bad blood but her being one of the only people consistently calling out Dan’s shenanigans makes sense now. Thought it was a bit but wouldn’t be surprised if some of it wasn’t.

The week without Dan & Stu a few weeks ago was actually one of the more enjoyable weeks in a while. The combination of Amin and Hawk was my favourite but Dom with Amin/Hawk was good too. David Samson is even more tolerable but you have to pair him with someone that gets the show because his blind spots are too big for him to be a regular host.

- Stu is never there.
- Chris is a mediocre EP and nepo hire, and judging that they left ESPN after he got canned he's going nowhere.
- God bless Roy.
- God bless Greg.
- God bless Billy. Nothing bad to say about him either.
- Tony adds nothing. Just bad QBs and MMA, and I can't remember the last time he said something funny or insightful about either.
- Jeremy adds a necessary human punching bag to the proceedings. And now that Jess is gone and Mike is part-time, he's the only one who gives consistent effort (in being annoying, but that's still valuable).
- Samson, like Amin but less so, is good in small doses. He plays a good villain.

They NEED to find two funny, insightful people dumb enough to want to live in South Florida. Good luck.

Agreed on Cote leaving the EP role. He's gonna be a lifer on the show but he doesn't know how to handle these people and worse yet, he has no clue how to set them up for them to make good radio/audio. But considering Mike spent like 3 years looking for an EP and couldn't find anyone -Cote was literally the only one left, lmao-, I'm not sure they'll ever find anyone that can put up with these versions of Dan, Stu and the whole gang really.

They NEED to find two funny, insightful people dumb enough to want to live in South Florida. Good luck.

Good for her to get out of Miami as she didn't hide her unhappiness living there. But to be honest, she'll probably only be affiliated with the show when they call her to talk about Notre Dame sports. I'm unaware of what they do in their NYC office on-air wise besides Pablo's show.

I have no idea what Stugotz has up his sleeve, but it's clear this show isn't his first priority professionally. Getting away from DraftKings is probably the first thing on his mind.

As far as the podcast, they'll probably keep rolling with their people. They desperately need someone that Dan will actually listen to when he needs to shut up and think before he blabbers endlessly. Problem is his wife doesn't work there.

Haven’t listened in forever but just saw Jess was leaving and popped back in here to see what the latest was. Sound like the same issues they always gonna have tbh.

It was always funny to me how Dan is just basically like “we don’t know what we’re doing” but seemingly wants people to take them serious as a show and/or company. Like if I was an established name in media I don’t think I’d be in a rush to be a part of what they got going on tbh.

Like why is he on here so often, I don’t always listen carefully, he’s not going to become a regular is he? Are these appearances part of his deal for Pearl Jam tickets?
