Canes sign Cristobal I’m gonna :snooze: on the show for the next two weeks. Don’t feel like hearing Mike talk nonstop about the Canes back, his sources, etc.

I should've followed this train of thought.

The cape this motherfukker has on for Miami doing Manny Diaz dirty in this situation is ridiculous.

And he really, seriously, said he didn't understand why the Oregon program thought they had the resources to make him stay. Act like Oregon isn't just the collegiate arm of Nike, brehs. :mjlol:

I'm going to be out on the Local Hour again. It's turned into Dan letting Mike talk non-stop for an hour crying about the Canes and Heat. Luckily, I can skip that shyt. Hopefully it doesn't seep into other podcasts.

Man, I get they're stretched thin because they've got a lot of people wearing multiple hats while they're in the middle of spinning up a lot of shyt behind the scene. But this "Mike as main character" phase gotta end soon. I completely understand that a good portion of this is probably him leaning into it as a bit, but that shyt ran its course a LONG time ago. It's absolutely absurd that they were aware enough to know that Cortes was the wrong type of annoying, clowned him on air, treated him like an unnecessary sitcom sibling and sent his ass upstairs to almost never return, and somehow came away with having Mike just do the same thing.

I doubt it. This shyt was happening when they were on ESPN radio. Dan knows a large portion of the audience doesn't want to see him "all up in the videos" but he likes to annoy the listeners. Plus I think Dan genuinely believes he's excelling as an on-air personality. He treats him like some weird pseudo son/brother. He'll trample over everyone else when they try to make a point, but will let him speak for minutes upon minutes.

Yeah, realistically speaking, you're right. But when they are handing out spinoff podcasts to just about anybody they think they can get traction with, it seems odd to not just use the simple solution, and give Mike his own shyt that would be much easier for people to ignore if they want to.
