don't like them only having 2 hours live, but if they stay consistent w/ having the digital hour up, i guess i get my third hour (this has always been my morning show 7-10am, 7-8 was getting ready for work, 8-9 was commute - although now it's just BS until i'm ready to log on, and i try to keep my calendar clear 9-10am so i can listen while checking email and easing into the day). but smh @ not getting to funniest thing or weekend observations on live radio

Dan was talking about how in negotiating his new contract, he was asked to stop doing the local hour because "his best stuff (takes)" were being wasted and ESPN wanted him to save it for the national audience.

He said they gave him that Art of Conversation show as part of the deal but it only lasted 2 episodes


So he basically said that he and supposedly Stugotz are going to be back doing the local hour plus an extra digital only hour after the national show ends at noon.

Damn. I just saw your post and pulled up the podcast queue. It has Local Hour, Digital Hour, Hour 1 & 2 (National Show), and Post Game.

I wonder if that's how they're going to operate going forward or if it's just during this intro period.
