I think the Lebatard show opened my eyes to how lame sports radio is. I can't listen to serious sports talk all day. I have no plans to listen to any of the new shyt they are putting out and once the Lebatard show is over I am probably done with ESPN radio. I hope they move to Sirius.
Super disrespectful yet Dan tries to play that (we're going to have much more wiggle room) card. ESPN is phasing them out and it's blatant and apparent.
The closest was in ATL
They were loose amd cracking jokes all night.
It was the one dude that used to be on NBA TV.

Dan must've really pissed the boss off. Always interesting to see a company blatantly gravitate away from it's most popular and successful property. Only thing I'm worried about is when the deal ends, Dan saying fukk it and riding off into the sunset. I can definitely see that happening.
Louisiana sports radio sucks. It's football all the time. One year Southern University was in the tournament and they were playing a close game with a high seed. This radio station spent 2 hours discussing LSU spring football. I never listened again.

I listened to it today. They try to act like they are excited about what's to come. They were told that since that ESPN wants to move toward digital they want to use their most popular digital show to get it kicked off. Sounds like bullshyt to me but I only listen to the podcast so maybe there is some truth to it.

I mean, you're trying to tell me Sportscenter is bigger than the DAN LEBATARD Show? Come on now.
Clearly I meant regarding the radio/podcast circuit.
Dan was talking about how in negotiating his new contract, he was asked to stop doing the local hour because "his best stuff (takes)" were being wasted and ESPN wanted him to save it for the national audience.
He said they gave him that Art of Conversation show as part of the deal but it only lasted 2 episodes
So he basically said that he and supposedly Stugotz are going to be back doing the local hour plus an extra digital only hour after the national show ends at noon.
