huge reason this show took off was because people didn't want to listen to your run of the mill sports show where people took sports way too seriously. However there is a difference in satire of a sports show and being over the top silly. The poll and Dan's Heat win rants are/were great sports show satire...baseball players names and far away from the mic hockey guy is just too silly & bad

Agreed. Alot of folks were tired of Dan's BS, but he really did a good job at stearing the ship when need be, knowing when to come with serious comentary when need be, and letting the guys have free reign when need be.

Matter fact, the gravy vampire would probably prefer if you did quit listening. The one thing yall have to remember when Hoch was there is they weren't beholden to ANYONE. Not 790, not ESPN, so of course the show will slip a bit. Still better than anything else out there excluding a few daily shows

The show isn’t even close to what it was in even 2016 and they were on ESPN back then. It’s fallen off a cliff. I’ve been listening since 10, it is what it is.

2. Hochman. Hoch made that show and filled in a lot of voids that alt right Mike doesn't. His Oscar rant is one of the greatest things from the show

Hochman left in 2013 (or was it 14'?), the show was still great for a good three-four years, minimum.

Lol you're bringing up shyt from years ago that has nothing to do with the recent slide. This thread was popping just as recently as last year because the show was still going strong, it's been a pretty big change over the last 8-12 months tho.

And this thread didnt get to crackin till 2014 which was like the tail end of the show at it's best. Had a nice lil run when SVG first started coming on before Detroit and when Bo would sit in

Shyt is odd. It’s like they wanna symbolically represent the whole “you don’t get the show” concept by taking vacays during the most important moments .

Need somebody to take their spot. While the show is a shell of what it once was ... I don’t see any other shows filling this lane
