Like, a bunch of grown men are handling your daughters and you don't ask questions about the process?
We know sports trainers rub muscles, etc., you never thought to ask your daughters if they felt uncomfortable?
Times like this, I appreciate my Dad being overbearing. And I don't wanna blame one parent.
But, this guy was able to get to a 100 kids before anyone spoke up.
Yes, there were parents that came forward and were ignored, but, that was after he'd done it a hundred times.
Now, I won't give the parent's too much blame. I'm definitely don't felt a single sorry for Larry Nassar.
Treat him for his illness, but, lock him up for his assaults.
I'd like ppl get this charged for all the non-violent drug offenders (3/4's of the country's prison population) having to live around killers.

There's so many layers you are missing. For a lot of those little girls the experience is traumatic. Hell even grown women who get raped completely lock it away and not talk about it. On top of that some may not even realize just how inappropriate the touching was depending on how far he went with them. Plus they were likely threatened that if they told anybody even their parents that they would be kicked out of the program.
I don't blame the parents at all for not knowing. A lot of those young women want the Olympics so bad I could see them not wanting to fukk that up at all and hiding what happened. It's just careless to assume parents were compliant with that behavior.

But, i find it hard to believe all 150 girl's parents inquired about the physical therapy and the littke girls lied about it
Maybe i grew up differently, but, my parents weren't sending me off with grown men touchin me regularly and askin me once about it

my mom wasn't coming into the room with me at the doctor after i turned 13/14 (maybe even 12), she never asked if i was being touched inappropriately because the reason i was there wouldn't involve a reason to touch me inappropriately. she's not wrong to have not asked, most people just wouldn't even think about it. those girls are breaking their bodies, so most parents are thinking of the physical rehab a dr is doing, they wouldn't even conceive of him being in or near their vagina. now couple this with the fact that he's treating college kids and those in training, people who live away from their parents, and the fact that many victims of sexual assault don't report it, it makes sense that there were only a handful of parents who knew/complained prior to the whole exposal.
