I won't lie, I was a little nervous at first when Romney was leading in the beginning. What worried me was the possibility of people not getting out to vote like they did in 2008 and those who switched opinions during the last 4 years.

When i got home last night and saw Romney ahead in the EV's my wife was shook i told her not to worry it was on lock all that red just amounted to empty space, the bulk of Obama's votes aren't even in yet, i even told her he'd win by about 100 EV's.

I can tell a lot of people have never paid attention to elections before when they were freaking out about early EV count when all the red states would always come in first 
Anyway, I always said it was about Obama's paths to the 270. And the fact that he didn't even need to win the 3 big states told you all you needed to know about this election. He was consistently ahead in Ohio this entire year. That's not something that just changes on election night.
