Nah mate, that's Tottenham (Broadwater Farm) :russ: but I lived around the Woodlands Park area just off Black Boy Lane. I also used to live in Ponders end back in the 90s.

I know exactly the flats you're thinking of though, there's four in a row. You could see them from my old house.

I heard Broadwater Farm is one of the roughest estates in London. And yeah, back in the day, one of my co-workers was dating some dude that lived in those yellow flats in Ponders End.

I edited my post a bit btw, but nah BF is much better than what it was years ago. There was always a stigma because of the 1985 riots and that copper getting killed, but it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. Now Stonebridge Park back in it's heyday was hell on earth to the 10th power lol. That area was just madness. Some of the shyt that used to happen there was :snoop: But that's NW ends on the other side of town, I heard it's cleaned up now too.

Yeah, most of London has improved anyway if its somewhat central. Through gentrification and all that but I always heard that Broadwater Farm had a very rough reputation.

I've also heard of Stonebridge many times but I've never been. Closest I've been to Stonebridge was Kilburn. I worked around there briefly.

Where I grew up was part of the city of Madrid but it was considered to be more of a mountain town since it was up in the Sierra of Madrid. All the towns in the Sierra are considered to be slightly country, compared to the rest of the city.

Give it a couple of years and even grimey Tottenham is going to be upscale. I have a cousin who lives in one of the flats by White Hart Lane and apparently they're gonna move everyone out and demolish them in the near future. That's why they're totally revamping Tottenham Hale with that ridiculous and confusing one way system that's made traffic 5 times worse and fixing the place up - they're basically pulling a New York move. Because it has the football grounds and several tube/train stations which make it easy to get to the city, they want to get all the poor folks out and move rich folk in. Soon you will get fancy expensive condos where tramps and drug addicts used to dwell.

Saying all that though, the place does need a major clean up in some parts because a lot of it is just. :scusthov:

Well, I've only been to Tottenham a couple of times so I don't know the area well. Furthest up I've been has been Wood Green and Bounds Green. I used to like this girl that lived in Tottenham and she said she lived in the good part of Tottenham, whatever that means

But yeah, any place that's kind of central or with good connections to central is going up a lot in price. Seems they are gonna move all the poor folk all the way out to the fukking sticks
