It is a great show and it will actually surprising that were levels in that culture as far superiority.

barely got into this yesterday and binged watched all of it. I'm shocked as hell as how good this is. It also helped that this took place in NYC late 80's early 90's, i'm a sucker for that. Billy Porter def kills it and i had no idea angel was trans till the second season

I thought i was good at deciphering who a tranny and who's not, but man she fooled my simpin a*s

i was kind of like cuz she looked wayy too good to be one but hey, props to her for looking like a real one.


The show makes you understand the community more and makes you realize some straight dudes do have a certain type

I watched a few episodes and I cant front...this is a good ass show...all that tranny ball shyt was weird but the story is well written

Not one person will tell you they do not like this show. At first you just got to get over the . But to be honest they do not over do it on the show.

season 2 ep 3 so far my thoughts

-very interesting to see the time frame reflected. The seediness of pre Giuliani NYC. The emergence of the ball room sub culture to the masses. How the Govt left these people to die to HIV/Aids. The music which I grew up listening too through my folks.

-I love candy. shes funny as fukk Pure a$$hole nature and always pulling out that hammer . I bust out laughing when Wintour House debuted, bursting on the floor looking like the Ginyu Force

-Elektra is like if Emma Frost from the X Men was a trans Black woman. LIke its eerie how much she captures that haughty arrogance (Elektra was even a dominatrix at the HELLFIRE CLUB, crazy similarities). Though i will say her line reading is so overtly dramatic I sometimes cant tell if its supposed to be ridiculous or serious.

-I like the character of Blanca but I kinda get sick of the whole "saint blanca" vibe.

-Angel is legit a pretty treh Blanca too but Angel way more so.

-With that said when these fools are wearing short sleeve shirts, I be like "damn these nikkas could guard the 2017 Warriors wing scorers" the arms dont lie about trans, apparently .

- I understand why Billy Porter got the awards nods. Pray Tell carries every ballroom scene and is also the main source of exposition into the plight of LGBT during this time.

-All in all a good show gotta say. I thought "the L word" would be my extent of fakkitry tv shows but here we are
