My nephew said when he was at Wendy's, they made the salads in a trash can.

Dunno if was an actual used trash can or just a trash can. Either way the optics of that suck...

theres literally- no reason, to put food on top of a trash can..

while you're foods cooking.. clean your work station.. takes all of 2 minutes(max), to wipe sh!t down.. and, make room for whatever you need.. most restaurants have a prep area.. im sure she couldve used that as well.. :unimpressed:

my first restaurant job was at an Italian restaurant. I was a dishwasher. My cousin made the garlic bread. he made the garlic bread on top of a trash can like that EVERYDAY. we werent busy or nothing. just his standard practice and no one ever corrected him. My 2nd restaurant job I was a prep cook. Same thing with the guy who made the sauces or we made the eggplant, etc...we had more workspace but when it got busy the more hands you need and the more hands needed the more space needed so it would be 3 or 4 trash cans being utilized at the same time. this all took place when I was 18-22 :hubie:

breh...the trash can thing is minimal. there is soooooo much shyt that goes on in restaurants and like I said if they knew an inspector was coming they be on your ass so hard to correct you would look at the managers like :mjtf: why yall dont at least try and practice this shyt on normal days? I can imagine what goes on in fukkin Popeyes.

I can tell some of yall never worked in a fast food environment before :francis:

When theres a rush any space is turned into a work station :francis:

When I worked at shake shack I used to make sandwiches on the fridge during rush hours :wow:

I worked at white Castle and we never used a garbage pail for extra space!!! :hhh: BECAUSE WE HAD THE WHOLE DAMNED GRILL TO MAKE THE BURGERS ON!!!:damn:

Fast foods nasty. No surprise.

when I was working at McDonald’s as a teenager, we’d get in a rush and drop some food on the floor. Guess what, that food went right back to the customers :yeshrug:

ain’t have time to prepare another order.
