album is alright on first listen, the label influence on this album is wild tho. wanted more drill but it's his major debut album so i get it. meet the woo 1 & 2 are miles better.

standouts: 44 bulldog, gangstas, something special, what you know about love, tunnel vision

they also ruined enjoy yourself with that latin chick, replacing it with the burna boy version :yeshrug:

pop smoke when he was alive - "every song sounds the same! switch it up! he remade welcome to the party 10 times! drill is redundant!"

pop smokes album drops after he passes showcasing the versatility he was working on in response to criticisms - "not enough drill records! this isnt his sound!"

I fukking hate people

Great project when you get over the unneeded addition of Diddy's son and Karol G

Off first listen this is good though easily the weakest of his 3 projects. It’s clear most of these songs were ideas rather than finished products. Nonetheless the songs without features slaps the most (I’m heated they removed Burna for Karol but that’s label politics), dude just has effortless charisma.

Sucks dude was taken away from the world before his time. Dude just had so much charisma it was clear he’d be the next rap superstar and probably transition into movies. Instead that’s just what ifs :mjcry:.

I will say though that even when he was alive he was getting credit for his impact. He introduced a whole new sound to the masses. Meet the Woo over time should be considered an undisputed classic.

You gotta remember their working with very limited material. It’s not like he had a lot of stuff in the vault. So, you can’t expect top tier record. They probably have vocal from experimenting material and stuff not sharpened yet.

a shame to say, there is not one great song on here.

most of the features are awful.
a disgrace Burna Boy didn't end up on here.

lmao at people either praising 50 or shytting on him for work input in this album. I'd like to put how much input he actually had.

RIP the young woo.

also, go listen to that Rah Swish album..shyt hard as hell.
