Ahmed Johnson should've had a run with the title back in the day.

According to Johnson in a shoot interview, Austin politicked backstage and killed his push. :ohhh:

He also said someone keyed "Congrats N*GGER" into his car after he won the IC belt, and he was sure it was Austin :mjpls:

Ahmed Johnson: "Vince said I'm next in line for the WWF title!"

Stone Cold: "Oh hell yeah?"

When you look back at who has been champion in the last decade, it makes no fukking sense.
We heard this with Cody who daddy is a legend and was the main force behind NXT. These writers and people backstage be ignoring people a lot of times. They have there favorite who they want push. Plus we keep watching and supporting no matter what so there no incentive in there eyes to push a black talent.

They chase the Chinese/India/Hispanic market because they don't have a large presence in those markets so they go the extra mile to break into those market. But since a large part of there fanbase especially there hardcore fanbase is black no reason to chase us since we stay supporting no matter what.

Rep for that Stone Cold emoji. I'm over here like :russ:

The wrestling business is already a dirty game with cacs screwing each other like Hogan used to do cats :mjpls:

Add a breh to the mix and he never had a chance. :mjcry:

I mean seriously? :mindblown:

Seems pretty :mjpls: to me.

And no, IMO the Rock doesn't count. He identifies more as Samoan than black.

Closest we got was Booker T and Mark Henry as World Heavyweight Champion; it's nice to see dark-skinned breh holding that Flair belt :bpbanderas:

But what's the rationale? And what stopped qualified black wrestlers from holding the belt in the past? :bpohh:
We know why and anyone that makes the 'there isn't anyone on the roster with "it"' defence, there is such a thing as transitional champion. Through out the company's 50+ year history you are telling me they couldnt find one legit heel (that happened to be black) to hold the belt even temporarily while a face emerges to chase it? That cism runs deep..

Wouldn't surprise me if one of Vince snr's last wishes was that the belt would never be held by a black

The Rock was the first black champion.

That does not mean that he is the ONLY one we should be talking about by now. It's ridiculous.
but his mother is Samoan, can we stop being poor imitators of white supremacists already? He's clearly not black which is why he's been the only one to hold the belt. Its the same logic to why Obama was elected

You are not going to come to me, a black woman, with the misogynistic hotep bullshyt that only black men birth black sons. Or that mixed people don't qualify as black. Save it for someone else b.

Get the whole entire fukk outta here. This topic is so stupid I'm not even going to bother entertaining it.

Black woman with a what? :what: Facts are facts and his genetic make up speak for itself. To adopt the one drop rule just makes you come off as a slave to "their" sound wave

Racism is the obvious answer but if we are being straight up honest who did the WWE drop the ball on that was all but guaranteed to be a star. Guys like Kofi Shelton etc. could have had runs with the WWE title but they weren't/aren't looked at as cant miss prospects destined for big things. Now if Lashley would have stayed I think he would have definitely gotten the title a few times over the years.
