Some of them, yes.

I like that superstar calls and foul baiting aren’t as incentivized, I like the reduced number of timeouts, I like that intentional fouls to stop fastbreaks aren’t allowed, I like that when there’s a shot clock violation they let the opposing team have a chance to recover the ball instead of immediately blowing the whistle, etc.

On the other, I don’t really care for the goaltending rules, shorter 3-pt line, 5 fouls, technicals counting as fouls, the possession arrow, etc.

Both have their pros and cons

Kinda split. There are some FIBA rules i like. There are some i dont.

One that i remember NOT liking is the goal-tending rule where once the ball hits the rim if it's hanging on the rim the defender can tip it out just as the offensive player can also tip it in.

Only thing I like is less ticky tack superstar calls the less timeouts at the end of games other than that the rest of that sh*t is trash. I can't believe people would actually prefer to watch FIBA streetball. Plus that knocking the ball off the rim. That's clown shyt:hhh:

What the NBA is doing with the rules this season is enough for me.

I don't want guys just standing in the lane, the silly goal tending rules, or 10 minute quarters.

That no goal tending rule is interesting. I’ve always instinctively been against it... not bc I feel it’d make the game worse, but bc when you live your entire life under a certain code or belief system, completely eliminating it just seems kinda wild. The whole being resistant to change thing.

Kawhi game winner vs Philly never happens if Embiid could bat that ish away on 1st bounce. Pierce miracle shot in 08 doesn’t happen either. Making or intentionally tryna miss free throws would have a whole other layer of fukkery.

That would negatively affect slower footed lesser athletic players like Luka and Jokic.

These NBA rules allow the Euro skill set to flourish instead of getting clamped down.
