Kamala ran a damn good campaign, considering the fact that she only three months to prepare for it. And she was definitely more than qualified for the position of commander in chief.

But the inflation and immigration issues, plus Americans being drawn to Trump’s fake macho persona and racist antics is basically what helped him win. Not to mention people associating trump with "better days" also helped him (that nostalgia also helped biden too in 2020).

Tbh most of Trump’s supporters dont even care about his stance on issues, they just like his image and rhetoric :yeshrug:

So in other words, kamala didn't lose this, the American people just chose who they wanted. Plain and simple.

But expect to see a lot of buyers' remorse from the general public in the next few years, and boy am I looking forward to watching it :mjlit:

the american fukking people made their choice :snoop:but we if we're going to remain hopeful that the democratic institutions will survive (:sadcam: ) we also gotta look to the future after 4 years

which requires some diagnosis and adjustment

So

Did Kamala lose (bad candidate, bad policies, etc.) or did Trump win (america shifting right, they like his messaging, etc)?
In bold. It's actually both. :manny: People didn't want Harris in 2019 and the establishment still tried to force her on people. As for Trump, I started a thread on the initiative of right wing conservatives. They have been hitting the pavement for decades and we are seeing the results. This isn't a single circumstance.

I stopped reading after the first sentence. She ran a terrible campaign. Did you already forget people was asking when is she going to start doing interviews. After she started, people then asked when will she answer a freaking question. Come on. She did raise a hella lot of money but her campaign was terrible. Let's not talking about her multiple dialects.

Considering she had less votes than Biden and Obama and ran similarly to both of them, she lost.

The people didn't like Biden. I said in 2020 that was the worst tandem the DNC could've picked. A lot of people could've beat Trump because it was clear he had no idea what he was doing with covid, and his fukk ups there unlike other avenues of government directly correlated to a million people dying.

Also not going on Rogan and speaking plainly to the public.

Mind you I don't fukk with Joe Rogan at all and never really have because I know what he represents.

She let Trump, Vance, and Musk all go on his show which is beamed into the heads of millions of men on a weekly basis, men who could have at the last minute, with some sensible statements, been like "Eh you know what fukk it...Trump is an idiot"

Gotta love how yall trying to blame Kamala now:mjlol:

She simply couldnt overcome Jim Crow Joe who yall loved so much 6 months ago:respect:

She gave yall life when you were dead in the water and this is how you treat her? This is why you lost,a lack of damn loyalty. Latinos probably saw how the Dems treated their most loyal voter base. Why would Pablo and Raul make the same mistake as us?

The DNC lost. This is now the FOURTH Democratic candidate in a row the party has forced on their base and their record is 1-3.

The DNC has to start listening to what the people want and stop thinking they can politick their way out of any hole

Why can't voters vote for their party, though? Republicans vote no matter what. Dem voters are better off with a Dem presidency regardless if they aren't high on the candidate. Many Republican voters held their noses and voted for Trump. Support your squad no matter what. Now Republicans have the power to make lasting changes.

Also it seems like the right wing voter suppression/discouragement machine was extremely success.

Got 15 million plus people to stay home compared to 2020
