If people paid attention to the polls, they knew she would lose GA. I figured she would lose NC and AZ. But to lose PA and WI
:beli:
I fully expected to wake up and find out we won’t know who wins until PA finishes counting which wouldn’t be certified until early next month.
:skip:
This is crazy. My Wife is a believe he will follow that project 26 shyt. I don’t know what it is or what is in it. If I see the president start pulling off some sideways shyt, I’m moving my family to Belize. I got my citizenship this year and my kids as well. I slipped up on the Wifey but she can make visa runs until she gets hers.

I know the military industry will be straight so I’ll have a job until I retire. Pray for our leaders and pray this country will be straight for the next four years. Who knows what happens with the Justices. Outside of them, can Trump really fukk it up that bad in four years?
:patrice:

Yes he can fukk it up pretty bad. He will have the senate and house and doesn't have to worry about reelection so he's not going to pander to anyone or hold back. Whatever impulses he has will be unleashed.

Literally anything is possible. Based on the way people voted they indicate they support whatever Republicans and Trump may be capable of. They want it basically.

The DNC, Biden and Kamala lost this. Biden was supposed to be a one term placeholder, letting him run again was stupid. And of course kicking him out in fukking July was stupid. And while it logistically was the best move, Kamala showed she was a terrible candidate in 2020 and here we are betting on her in 2024.

That said, Trump clearly speaks to men and white people as a whole…Latino men love them some sexism

I go further and say the Dems lost it back in 2020/2021. When they didn't put a long term contingency/succession plan in place for Biden who was 78 at the time and going to be 82 at the start for the potential following 4 years.

PA outside of Philly is full MAGA territory, and that's the actual city of Philly. Those outskirts are mostly red, as well. I was confused why she kept coming to Philly, when it was every place else outside the state she had to worry about. Surprisingly, she won Pittsburgh though.

Y’all gotta stop with this one trick pony :russ:
She is apart of an administration that isn’t liked
She wasn’t liked 4 years ago
She wasn’t liked in California
She just isn’t a likable person
She was a lame duck candidate just like Hilary
People are using this as the metric for why she didn’t win
If the Dems actually put a woman on stage that is likable, can put two sentences together without word vomit and misdirection, has a concrete policy and hammer it home every time
A woman would win the problem is none of the Dems(male or female) stand for shyt

They let small voices become the identity of the party while ignoring the majority
You can’t keep serving to the elites in Hollywood and small fringe groups like transgender, them/they and all that other bogus shyt
You have to talk to the working class first and once you get them
Then you can bring others along
You have to put sugar in the poison for a lack of a better term
The Dems stand for nothing
Hell Trump and the republicans stand for absolutely nothing but they stand on they bullshyt
That’s what won this election
They stood on his lunacy
Yeah you may point at republicans vouching for Kamala but ain’t nobody worried about their old guard
The Dems stay putting these old legacy candidates out to get the vote up and that’s clearly not working
You can’t cry sexism if women voted against her either
A primary should’ve been presented if they knew they didn’t want Biden running again
This was Pete Carroll with Beastmode at the one yard line
They fumbled this shyt plain and simple
They ran with him bad, me good
And that’s not cutting it anymore
They also ran on the black boogeyman and majority black voters still voted blue
While nikkas like me kept pointing out that we aren’t the demographic to worry about
Every coli breh political pundit jackass called posters like me c00ns
Welp we see who the big c00ns are in this world today
And Nan one of their representatives talking that shyt this morning
nikkas still trying to divert back to black men
shyt is beyond pathetic and yall gotta come up with something better on why she lost
Here’s the real answer
Nobody liked her
Her being a black woman still had more going against her. It was always going to be an uphill battle, no matter what they tried to get you to believe. A woman is not going to win the presidency anytime soon. That's just being realistic.

What is a likeable candidate, though? You can't try to pacify all sides, which is what she tried to do. Her entire run was based on her being the "cool aunt", which painted her as likeable, but did nothing for her policies, her tactics, her views, instilling confidence in her ability to get ish done. This is also why it will be a while before a woman is elected. She can't be so bent on politics that she loses any charm (a la Hilary), but she can't be so charming that she comes off as a softy. Too aggressive turns off everyone, including the women as for liking her, too fun turns off the men and power players. There's a fine line for women between darling princess and stuck-up. It's different for men, because you can be the bully and everyone flocks to you, or you can be the cool guy that everyone flocks too.

She was always the wrong candidate, but against Trump she had to play bully ball. She had to say "eff y'all...y'all never seen someone like me...this is what I'm gonna do, and this is how I'm gonna get it done...anyone that stands in our way will have the fight of their lives." She needed the voters with talk of improving the economy for the every-person, taking a stance on immigration and most importantly, could she instill fear in the leaders of other countries when necessary. The next candidate will have to be a charming a$$hole, since that is what the American people mainly get behind.

Yeah IDK why people are all doom and gloom :troll:

with the GOP controlling the WH, Senate, and House, I'm expecting in the next 2-3 years

Secure Borders
Grocery prices going down
Booming Economy
Drop in crime
Gas prices going down
Thriving middle class

:blessed:
You are clearly delusional to think that your electric bill , meat , grocery bills will come down

3 million less people voted for Trump than in 2020.

Kamala got 15 million less than Biden in 2020. She lost. I have to conclude that sexism was a big factor here. She was an unremarkable candidate but Trump is a genuine scumbag. The people that made the difference 4 years ago just didn't care this time around.

She lost. She listened to all her duel national advisors from Israel and chase moderate white women who didnt budge an inch while arresting, criminalizing, and idsenfrachizing the ONE GROUP democrats can rely on. The young vote. Protests all across the nation about Gaza and not only do you ignore it, but you launch programs to combat anti-semitism and support jailing students?

Epic fail

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Sort of obvious. Just ask yourself a couple of questions:

  • Do you really think Kamala could have done anything to bring in more white men and Latinos?
  • Why did white women support Hilary far more, despite them having much more at stake in this election?
It would have been a nail biter even she ran a perfect campaign. Meanwhile, Trump was able to gain more votes this time around despite adding a felony to his record. If Harvard Business was accepting case studies in ITWAN, this would be at the top of the syllabus

You can blame her personality and alignment with Bidenomics, and I am sure those played a part. But, c'mon now people... :comeon:

This is clearly a canary in the racist coal mine.

Myself and my own.
The only chance she had was disavowing Biden and his policies. But since Democrat party favors loyalty over winning Elections she was doomed from the start. This is about 90% Biden's fault and 10% Kamala for being so scripted.

Biden's approval rating at one point was the lowest in history. But did the Democrats pivot? Nope instead they double downed on their unpopular policies at every turn.

Every time those of us brought up Biden's health, the border or the economy we got shouted down. A blind person could see they were about to get steamrolled. If you took your head out your ass.
There were many people who wondered why she couldn't just "walk down the hall" of the White House and talk to Biden if she felt something needed to be done differently too. There were too many things in her campaign that, when taken together, made little sense.

I think any Dem would have lost. white, man, woman, old, young, etc., etc. Kamala was the sacrificial lamb. It's all about that old cliché question "Are you better off than you were 4 years ago". If most people are answering no, then the incumbent party is losing. It would take an extraordinary candidate to overcome that and she wasn't it. And Biden sure as hell wasn't it.
