shyt like this incident is the backlash. I live in a wealthy ass area in Maryland and I see this shyt everyday. Just seen a fake ass "jumping" this afternoon where no real punches were laid. But it's mostly black kids thinking they are gangsta for selling $40 worth of bud eryday at the bus stop thinking they are Felix Mitchell. 
But them tokens, especially the whiteboys from good homes, who hang with those brain dead nikkas are always the worst because like Dave Chappelle said you don't know what they are willing to do to get and keep them nikkas respect. 
All these kids listen to is this negative droning ass shyt that glorifies senseless violence, disrespecting complete strangers, being an unemployed piece of shyt with no skills or education who show everybody his drawers all the time etc. etc. etc. The crime rate only still high in a few cities (i.e. Baltimore, Chicago, STL). And the funny thing is those real inner city nikkas ironically way more respectful than these suburb wannabes and usually only resort to violence when big $$$ is at stake, not catch a body over popping off at the mouth being disrespectful just to be disrespectful

It really is a tough thing to comment on. We can all say the correct things like most people in this thread are doing, but in reality we have all stood in that cafeteria or in that circle outside after school and watched people throw down. They probably didn’t anticipate the stabbing though

I got to that point a long time ago. Too much trash in today's world but it's always been there. Blame social media all you want but this shyt's been happening before the invention of the television. At least now we see how bad it really is.Believe I've seen the worst of parenting from the 80's and 90's too.
