that was one thing he said that stuck with me…another is you’re never fully prepared for shyt to go down no matter how much you think you are…recently I went to the store just to pick up some beer…came out and seen a dude at his car and felt it was too close to mine so I was already eyeing him…ironically like jock I’m a dude who won’t even take a shyt w/o my gun in arm’s reach…unfortunately nikkas on another forum can attest to that (nothing serious…silly shyt) but it’s true lmao

…walked up to my car…eye on him he didn’t budge…took my eye off him for a second just to put the bag on my seat and immediately looked up to “keep” my eye on him…this muthafukka was already approaching my door and he was already way too close to me…motioned and looked at him and said “what’s up?”…he said the same and fortunately he kept it moving

…I don’t think I was reading too much into it what happened on that encounter…I very much believe he was ready to rob me but he thought about it and decided not to…not really bcuz of anything I did but bcuz he was probably looking for an easier mark…the irony? I didn’t even have my shyt on me even tho I motioned like I did cuz I thought it was just gonna be a quick run to the store…if he was really determined to have my shyt…I woulda been done…there are dudes out here who wake up everyday looking to take…that I’ve seen firsthand…and some will go to further means than others to do so…I got lucky he wasn’t really on his shyt

Crazy, it's almost at this point to always remain strapped. Joc made a reference to being stuck or frozen in the moment things happen. I had an encounter, walking downtown (usually I don't be in tourist spots but I was with a friend lady) she never been on Bourbon St. I hate it, we walking, and shots rang out as they usually do and folks take off running, I froze up and was watching the whole shyt play out, not really knowing that there are people shooting, I stand there. The chick I am with is scared, after things ceased, she looks at me like why was I just standing and not running like everybody else, I couldn't even answer her or formulate why, but what Joc said was dead on.
Sometimes you just freeze up, not on some scary shyt but you just become caught up I guess..



Another thing Joc said was very important, nikkas will kill you in front of your kids. Rappers or anybody think having their kids, mama, gf, etc that a nikka won't do anything, (I'm out here with my family, nikkaz won't do anything, I should get a pass) nah, that is not the case anymore. You getting slime'd in front of your family.
That somewhat use to be a rule, let buddy slide, he's with his kids, these days, nikkas don't care.

I just read a man in Texas was robbed and killed in front of his 2 year old, the robbers killed buddy, left the kid in the car, the kid died in the car because of the heat.
shyt just happened like 3 or 4 days ago
