I probably have more experience, pride, and love for my people with when it comes to the history of AA than most people on this site.

I'm not talking about knowledge of historical facts, but real life experiences with children of KKK members and elderly black men and women who have passed that watched black people get beat and killed. "nobodies" that the history books will never make mention of that lived the life most black people just read about.


So to tell me my self esteem is low, makes me chuckle a bit. The love for people and what we've been through runs deep. I've just been lucky enough to have an open mind and deal with all kinds of people on more than a surface level.
