That's what bothers me the most about dude.I don't know what it is, but there were times today he had a wide open three and just dribbled in when the defender gave some weak/soft close out playing him for the dribble. You'd think he'd let it fly at some point, Brandon Ingram was taking those "fukk it, I'm the man" type threes late in the game for Duke and while he missed a couple I'd much rather see that than a guy too afraid to pull the trigger.
His lack of a jumpshot isn't as concerning to me as his reluctance to take the shot.
Ingram has a higher chance of being a bustThat's what bothers me the most about dude.
I never seen a wing prospect REFUSE to shoot jumpers. It's so wild to me. That's says a lot to me
Ingram is a plug and play anywhere. Simmons would have to go to a specific situation. Ingram is the #1 prospect imo
Ingram has a higher chance of being a bust
He gets praised for his shooting he's only shot over 50% twice in the last ten games. Buddy Hield is an elite three pts shooter, ingram is someone who takes threes that doesn't mean he's elite. He's not assertive like people say he is in the Louisiville game Coach K got in his face and told him to be more aggressive because Allen was in foul trouble and all he did was shoot once in the last ten minute he had 8 pts and 10 turnover that game and a guy way smaller than him locked him down. In the game against North Carolina same thing coach K wanted him to be more assertive and he didn't show up. Since the Louisville game he's shooting 35% and during that span all we've been hearing is he's a better prospect than Simmons.Explain
He has a handle.....an elite 3pt shooter....... over a year younger than Simmons and has longer wingspan
Dude is more aggressive than Simmons by a long shot.He gets praised for his shooting he's only shot over 50% twice in the last ten games. If yu say Ingram is more aggressive than Simmons than we're watching two different players . Ingram is just as laid back as Simmons. Maybe because Ingram is more perimeter oriented he looks the part.Dude is more aggressive than Simmons by a long shot.
If you pack the paint against Simmons he's lost in the half court. He's a great passer and a great player. I just am not taking him over Ingram.

You talking about a guy that people back off 4- 5 feet off him and wont even pretend to shootIf yu say Ingram is more aggressive than Simmons than we're watching two different players . Ingram is just as laid back as Simmons. Maybe because Ingram is more perimeter oriented he looks the part.
They can and will, just differently.Ben Simmons most likely will excel on offensive side of the ball as teams cant go zone and pack the lane like College teams can
Defense is a another story. Really Blake Griffin like on that side of the ball
