You know, the more I think about the scorpio I am convinced that the scorpio is going to come out with an SSHD or something different. I will be very underwhelmed if the shyt just comes with a stock drive.

Microsoft wants to crush Sony in terms of overall performance across the board and can't see them go full out on all the hardware and stick it with a regular hard drive when an SSHD is not THAT much more expensive, especially when you consider it is being bought by the MILLIONS.

It just doesn't make sense with all this push and DigitalFoundry coverage. I am sure there was a convo with Richard from DigitalFoundry on campus regarding storage as well.

Thoughts? Why compromise?

I think they would have said it already.

They talked about improving load times, but they didn't mention anything about a ssd.

You know what? Microsoft just about got me. I'm damn near convinced on getting a Scorpio.

I plan on watching Planet Earth in 4K later this year on a 4K TV I'm coppin soon so 4K Blu Ray is a plus (and the 5th Element is droppin soon too on 4K Blu Ray) , 360 BC for me is huge because I was PS3 last gen so that's an entire library of games I haven't played that is getting the HDR treatment.

I'll still have my PS4 Pro for exclusives and multiplayer multiplats (majority of friends are on PSN), and Scorpio for single player multiplats and exclusives

If there is an SSD included, console will be $550-600 minimum. If it's $500, you won't see an SSD
