can someone please point me to the best 4K HDTVs for gaming thread cause I'm finally ready to upgrade. Had this TV for over 10 years now. Scorpio has made me see the light.

Console power isn't Microsoft's main issue. It's not why they're getting steamrolled in sales by the PS4. They need a Horizon, a Persona, an Uncharted. They need critically acclaimed high rated 90+ games you can only experience on Xbox to get people talking again.

And not one that's Forza, Halo, or Gears none of which are breaking into the 90s anymore anyway on Metacritic.

Pretty much all multiplats are going to be purchased on the Scorpio, easy its not even a contest. Infact I'd wouldn't be surprised to see sony announcing an new console in like 2 years now.

So.....I'm not seeing an enormous leap from PS4 Pro to Scorpio. What am I missing?

The leap in this is greater than the leap from PS3 to PS4pro, but regardless. Even if all that was untrue, wouldn't take away from the fact you are FURIOUS!!!

Digital Foundry is saying they manged to hit their estimated 6 tflops with the gpu. PS Pro is like 4.5.

They are saying much more than that. They will continue to reveal more throughout today and in the near future. People always try to determine power from numbers while not factoring in how these parts will work in real world applications. Scorpio will be on a par with a PC GPU that is clocked in at over 9tflops

Buy anyway, yeah this thing looks like a monster on paper.

Plus backwards compatibility with old games? The best thing Microsoft did was dumping that jerk Mattrick and refocus on what the brand is supposed to be about. Great Job by Phil Spencer and the crew.

Phil Spencer has nothing to do with Scorpio being created, or anything. Since Phil came, less and less exclusive games have been releasing. That's the reality, he isn't responsible for a single title dropping soon. He is just the face with some influence. My question to you and to all is what exactly is Phil responsible for

Forza 6 ran at 4@k 60FPS with only 66 percent of system resources being used with Moreno power to add if necessary
