The combat looks decent but I'm less excited about it now than before the showcase.

One of the things they keep referencing is the rope and stick metaphor, and the stick represents pushing things away/offensive stance, and rope is about bringing people closer, and tying them together, the theme of the first game.

Troy Baker’s character (Higgs) reiterates in this trailer that Sam is taking more of a “stick” approach this time around.
