It’s really about first party software with most people. They like Onimusha but they don’t like Onimusha more than Tsushima/Yotei. They might like a that annihilation game or whatever but they don’t like it more than they would like wolverine, even big game like monster hunter, naw show us bloodborne remastered!
people don’t want to admit it but most people are tuning into state of plays because they value sonys first party games far more than any 3rd party publishers outside of Rockstar and maybe CDPR. People want things that push their console and they know only Sony is gonna provide it outside of just being a shallow UE5 experience. The same people i see saying it wasn’t bad are the people who i don’t typically see praising sony first party stuff.
