The games im most excited for from the showcase are spider-man 2, a game i knew i was gonna get, and FFXVI a game i already have preordered.
1st party Exclusives on any platform don't matter like y'all think when it comes to the grand picture. keywords.. 1st party exclusives.
It has nothing to do with it being PS or MS. The only system where 1st party exclusives are synonymous with a system to the point of common knowledge is Nintendo. Mario is Mickey mouse, and people know where they need to go and look for to get Mickey mouse branded products.
Playstation nor Xbox has anything like that thier random 1st party exclusives games don't compare because they come and go. Especially on playstations end.
Also yes playstation is the brand, the reason people ran out and bought a playstation when there was literally nothing to play on it was because of the branding, having a PS5 during 2020-2022 was like having the latest Jordans. Dudes was just posting and talking about how they got a PS5 out the blue for no reason but to floss that they have one.

Neither of those games compare to what people want from playstation studios
DD2 is not the next Naughty Dog game and MGS3 is not the next Bluepoint game. People want to see things from those studios, if people only wanted 3rd party trailers they wouldn’t be hype for a playstation showcase, they’d be hype for a Keighly show or ubisoft forward

Dudes was hype over metal gear 3 info when they thought it was a playstation exclusive, now it's "just another game"
If dragon dogma 2 was a exclusive or Alan wake 2 dudes would have been hype to come back and say how they "eating" on playstation this year...

There were exclusive games there though so that doesn’t make sense. The best looking games there were exclusive, SM2, FFXVI, Phantom Blade 0, Helldivers 2, etc.
