I'm on the fence. The concept is cool, but the fact that you have to have the PS5 turned on or in rest mode feels like hustling backwards a little bit.

We lost power for 5 days during the hurricane and stayed at a hotel the entire time. This thing would have been obsolete.

Yeah, it’s limited due to your ps5 needing to be in rest mode but it’s also far cheaper than the alternatives. You can get portals on sale right now for 150

And it probably has a better screen and picture quality to anything priced close to it

I'd relink the PS Portal to the PS5 and restart it.

Are you sure that the PS5 is in rest mode and not fully turned off?
