I think what they should do with this is make it a combo unit with digital only PS5s and sell it at a budgeted price, like 525-550. This way, they can sell the portal as a standalone for the two bills still for those that already have a PS5, but for those that don't, it ensures they get both and with a bit of savings with that. It could also put the portal in more homes at a faster rate as well.

Steam deck is pretty much the maximum power you can fit in a handheld with reasonable power and battery life right now.

It’s why there’s no steam deck 2 yet.

Some of the other PC handhelds have more power, but their battery life is fukked. Nintendo ain’t gon drop a system with 45 minutes of game time.

The internet has given DLSS more credit than it deserves.

Sure it’s better than just native upscaling, but if a game gotta play at 480p just to exist on a platform DLSS ain’t gone do too much to help it.
