PS5: 7.8m LTD, PS4: 5.8m (115.9m LTD) / Best Year ever for PlayStation / $3.23B Profits (+43.5% YoY) / 330m+ games sold

PS4 was 7.6M at the same time, which means it broke its own record in a pandemic. As of now it is over 8 million sold.

It generated record profits of over 3 billion for its game and services division alone

Sony has not lost money on the production and marketing cost of the PS5 this is the first for a console launch for them*

Sony reiterates it will be aggressively pursuing 1st party content

PlayStation 4 is now the console which has sold the most games in video game history, with at least 1.577B games sold Surpassing PS2's 1.537B games sold, previous record holder.
